• Friday 20th, 9pm – 1 Year Celebration, live music and dj.
  
  Rosie and Lisa became friends when Rosie used to work at Lisa's first pub The Compasses Inn. We both grew up in the area in local villages. Rosie trained as a nurse, Lisa used to run a photo lab in Whitstable.
  Lisa then was a tennant at The Compasses and Rosie started working extra shifts for Lisa at the compasses due to her low nursing income! They both decided to go into business together and by chance their dream pub came up. Pretty village location, tourists about, Kent village, local to where they both grew up. They decided to look after local businesses and use local farmers, organic where possible. lisa's cousin Bluey is a local fisherman in Faversham.
  We buy all our fish from him on a regular basis so stock is local and fresh. The organic veg is farmed from Ripple Farm Organics where Rosie grew up and family originally started the organic theme. Lisa and Rosie believe in supporting the local community and welcome well behaved children and pets! We run a warm, friendly pub with local, homecooked organic food.
